Protection of Personal Data

This clarification text has been prepared by Private Samsun Büyük Anadolu Hospitals, as the data controller, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the Regulation on Personal Health Data, the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Disclosure Obligation and the relevant legislation.

HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED?

I. PATIENT REGISTRATION

When you log in as a guest at Private Samsun Büyük Anadolu Hospitals, your following data will be processed by our guest services staff for the purpose of registering to the Hospital Information Management System (“HBYS”): “provided that it is directly related to the establishment or execution of a contract, it is necessary to process the personal data of the parties to the contract” and It is processed based on the legal reason "it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations":

All these data are instantly transferred to the Medula system of the Social Security Institution (“SGK”) via HBYS, where they are processed.

In addition, during the patient registration process, an SMS is sent to the relevant recipients who have registered the patient so that our guests can complete their HIS registration on the system and access the content of the information text whenever they want. The sent SMS content includes 1 disposable confirmation code for our guests who wish to give approval within the scope of KVKK and the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce No. 6563 (“ETK”). If the confirmation codes are reported by our guests to our guest services personnel who carry out the patient registration process, a record is created on the HBYS of the relevant recipient, indicating that the necessary explicit consent and approvals for KVKK and ETK have been given. Explicit consent and approvals given will be valid until withdrawn by exercising the right to reject.

II. HEALTH CARE

Our guests, whose registration process has been completed, request the following data during the provision of the health service and due to the nature of this service, for the legal reason of "carrying out medical diagnosis, treatment and care services" by our health personnel and physicians who are under the obligation of confidentiality, Private Hospitals Law No. 2219 and Article 3359. It will be processed based on the cases clearly stipulated in the Health Services Basic Law no. 663, the Decree Law on the Organization and Duties of the Ministry of Health and its Subsidiaries No. 663, the Private Hospitals Regulation, the Health Practice Communiqué and the Patient Rights Regulation no. 6098, and the Turkish Code of Obligations no. 6098, and HBYS' will be saved to:

III. PATIENT EXIT

HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA TRANSFERRED?

-HEALTH CARE

Your personal data listed above may be scanned by competent authorities, especially but not limited to the Ministry, Provincial and District Health Directorates, Public Health Centers and other units affiliated to the Ministry.
